October is Pastor Appreciation Month. Since Pastor Tom came to the church during an unusual situation with the COVID, most of us have not had a chance to meet him in person yet. Since we cannot meet together as a group at this time to celebrate Pastor Tom, we are going to do a CARD SHOWER. We are asking everyone to either mail a card to the church office or stop in during our new office hours and introduce yourself to Pastor Tom and drop your card off.
NEW PASTOR LED BIBLE STUDY
Mondays, 10:30 a.m. Church Fellowship Hall Pastor Tom is starting a new in-person Bible study on Monday, October 19th. We will meet every Monday at 10:30 am in the Fellowship Hall. Pastor Tom will be teaching on "How to Understand the Old Testament". Please contact the church office if you plan on attending so we can know how many to set up for so that we can maintain social distancing.
ANNUAL CHURCH CONFERENCE
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 17TH 10:00 TO 11:00 AM
Our annual Church Conference this year will be via a Zoom meeting and everyone in the church is invited to attend. You will be able to join via Zoom from your home computer/tablet. A link to the meeting will be sent to your email approximately one week before the meeting.
For those of you on the SPRC, you will be sent a separate link for a meeting from 9:00 to 10:00 prior to the Church Conference
CHURCH YARD SALE
Saturday, November 7th
Because we were not able to have our Fall Festival this year, we’ve decided to have an outdoor yard sale in the church parking lot to sell the items that we’ve collected this past year. We would encourage everyone in the church to bring and donate any items that you do not need. Please do not bring your items to the church before Wednesday, November 4th, as we do not have room to store them. The items will be placed in the Lillian Carver room that week. Then on Saturday, November 7th, we need volunteers to come to the church around 6:00 am to help move everything to the parking lot and set up for the sale. It would help if you could price your donations before you bring them to the church to save time that morning. The sale would then start at 8:00 am for the public. We will need all hands on deck that day to help make this a success.
If you have any questions call the church office or email firstname.lastname@example.org
